The Bridges Chamber Orchestra, Conductor - Harish Shankar
The Israeli clarinetist and composer Dana Barak has performed in Europe, USA, South Africa and Israel as a soloist and chamber musician. Her latest CD was released on the Hänssler Classic Label and features Trios for Clarinet, Violin and Piano and includes Dana Barak's work "Suita Zeira".
Two World Premieres took place in June 2023:
"Wa Jechi le Achi" for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra, performed by the composer herself as a soloist together with the "Bridges Chamber Orchestra" at the Volksbühne Frankfurt,
as well as her Quartet "Widmanns Fantasie" for Soprano (Olga Pasichnyk), Violin (Carolin Widmann), Clarinet (Dana Barak) and Piano (Jan Philip Schulze), premiered at the "Heidelberger Frühling Festival” on the occasion of Jörg Widmanns 50th Birthday Concert.
